On indoors this week

Good to know 🤔

What can I do in Singapore when it rains?+

Go somewhere big and air-conditioned: the National Gallery and National Museum (free for citizens and PRs), Jewel’s Rain Vortex (free, with light shows at 8pm and 9pm, plus 10pm Friday to Sunday), the Science Centre, or the free drop-in shows on the Esplanade Concourse.

What should I do when the haze is bad?+

Check NEA’s latest readings at haze.gov.sg before heading out, and keep the day indoors in air-conditioned places. Outdoor sports facilities can close on bad haze days, as some ActiveSG centres did in October 2026.

Is Jewel Changi free?+

Walking into Jewel and seeing the Rain Vortex costs nothing. The light and music show runs Monday to Thursday at 8pm and 9pm, and Friday to Sunday, public holidays and their eves at 8pm, 9pm and 10pm.
