The Male Ensemble Philippines sings songs from home and elsewhere in its first Singapore show, at the Esplanade Recital Studio on 5 Dec.
The Male Ensemble Philippines performs in Singapore for the first time on Sat 5 Dec, taking the Esplanade Recital Studio with a programme that ranges across songs from various countries, international classics and Filipino songs. Its singers also perform with other chorales that have won prizes. The whole set runs 1h 15min, so it is a proper evening of choral singing rather than a sampler.
Tickets are S$40, the concert runs 7.30pm to 8.45pm, and admission starts at age 6. The ensemble also leads a vocal workshop called Sama-Sama, Let us Sing Together! — a group singing session run by the performers themselves, if you would rather sing than listen.
