Onz!

The boring but important bit 🔒

What we collect, and what we don’t.

Onz is run by Rampage Connect Pte Ltd in Singapore. This page explains what data we handle when you visit onz.sg, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

The short version: you can browse Onz without accepting anything, we never sell your data, and we never share it with advertisers.

Analytics you have to agree to

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which events and articles people find useful. GA4 sets cookies and is therefore switched off until you press Accept on the banner. Press Decline, or ignore the banner, and it never loads at all — that is why the banner exists rather than a notice telling you cookies are already running.

You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site’s cookies in your browser, which brings the banner back.

Counting visits without cookies

We also use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without building a profile of you. It records the page visited, rough country-level location, and the kind of device — never anything that identifies a person, and nothing that follows you to another site.

Because it identifies nobody, it runs for every visitor and is not covered by the consent banner. It is how we know whether anyone is reading, when GA4 only ever sees the readers who opted in.

If you give us your email

Subscribing to the Onz mailing list stores your email address and the date and time you consented, so we can show that you asked to hear from us. We use it to send you what is on in Singapore, and nothing else. Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list.

If you submit an event or an advertising enquiry, we keep what you send us — your name, email and the event details — so we can act on it and reply to you.

Who else sees it

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertisers. It reaches only the services that make the site work: Vercel (hosting and analytics), Supabase (our database, hosted in Tokyo), Google Analytics, and Resend (email delivery). Each processes data on our instructions.

Links to ticketing sites and organisers take you off Onz, and those sites have their own policies we have no control over.

Your rights under the PDPA

Under Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act you may ask what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and withdraw consent at any time. Email us and we will action it — we do not ask you to prove why.

We keep subscriber data until you unsubscribe, and enquiries for as long as we need them to respond and keep our own records straight.

Children

Onz lists events for a general audience and is not aimed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has given us theirs, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we add a tool that handles your data differently, we will update this page and, where consent is required, ask again rather than assume.

Questions, or want your data removed?

Email Shawn and a human will reply. No forms, no ticket numbers.
