Good to know 🤔

Are the Chinese and Japanese Gardens open?+

Yes. They reopened on 8 September 2024 as part of Jurong Lake Gardens, after closing in 2019. The Waterwall Court in the Chinese Garden is currently closed for maintenance.

Is Snow City still open?+

No — Snow City closed permanently on 30 September 2026. The Science Centre next door is still open at Jurong East, Tuesday to Sunday, before its planned move to a new centre in the Jurong Lake District.

Can I cycle from Jurong to the other side of the island?+

Yes. Jurong Lake Gardens is the western start of the 36km Coast-to-Coast Trail to Coney Island, and its main path is part of the 150km Round Island Route. Some attractions in the gardens are no-cycling zones.
