ECOTONE is a sound installation by Alberto Anhaus, curated by Shireen Marican, and its opening launch takes over Arts x Tech Lab on Thursday 29 October. The piece comes out of research into disappearing ecosystems and the histories of plants — plants being the shared subject both practices work from. That is the ground the work is built on, and the launch is the first chance to stand in it.
The launch runs 5pm to 9pm, a four-hour window that leaves room to come by after the working day rather than write off the whole evening. Entry is free, so there is nothing to weigh up beyond getting yourself to Arts x Tech Lab. An installation built from ecological research and plant histories, opening for one evening in October.
