Percussion, noise and found objects: artist Alberto Anhaus leads a free hands-on sound workshop at Arts x Tech Lab.
Noise, Silence, Gesture is a hands-on session about sound made by bodies, materials and space, led by artist Alberto Anhaus, whose work runs across percussion, noise, organic decomposition and the relationship between sound and space. The premise is simple and strange in equal measure: ordinary objects, and the participants themselves, become the instruments. You will spend the afternoon working with found materials and practising the quieter skill of listening closely to what they do.
It runs Friday 30 Oct 2026, 2pm to 5pm, at Arts x Tech Lab, and it is free. Three hours of studying materials and coaxing sound out of them suits anyone curious about experimental music, sound art or simply paying closer attention to the everyday objects around them.
