Hazel Yew sings a relationship from first crush to the aftermath in Mandarin at Esplanade Concourse on 28 Oct — and it's free.
Hazel Yew takes a whole relationship and compresses it into one set: the first crush, the move, and whatever comes after. She is singing in Mandarin, performing her own interpretations of songs you probably already know — familiar, nostalgic material, with ballads and vocal numbers in the mix. Call it a short story with a soundtrack.
It is on Wednesday 28 Oct 2026 at Esplanade Concourse, 1 Esplanade Drive, starting 6.45pm and running 30 minutes. Admission is free, so there is no ticket to book and nothing stopping you from wandering over after work. Thirty minutes is a decent first date, a decent post-dinner stop, or just a decent reason to sit down in the middle of the week.
