Odissi from Odisha, danced by young performers from Chowk — four pieces, one evening, free at Esplanade Concourse.
Odissi, the classical dance tradition that comes out of Odisha, gets a short and structured outing at Esplanade Concourse. The young dancers of Chowk move through four pieces: Mangalacharan opens the programme as an invocation, Sthayi and Pallavi follow as two pure dance pieces, and Mokshya closes it.
It happens on Wednesday 25 November 2026, starting at 7.15pm, and the programme runs 30 minutes — short enough to slot into a weekday evening. Entry is free, so you can walk in off the Concourse without booking anything, watch a full classical dance set, and still be home at a reasonable hour.
