Ten days, 235 programmes and four keynote names β Singapore Writers Festival 2026 runs 13 to 22 November across the Civic District.
Ten days, 235 programmes, and a footprint that takes in The Arts House at the Old Parliament, Victoria Theatre, the Asian Civilisations Museum, National Gallery Singapore and the National Library, plus walks that carry the whole thing out into the city. The keynotes are the anchor: Stephen Witt, Amitav Ghosh, Silvia Moreno-Garcia and Ruha Benjamin, all speaking at Victoria Theatre. Sessions run in English, Chinese, Malay and Tamil β four languages of reading inside one festival.
Getting in depends on the session: 123 are covered by a Festival Pass, 84 are ticketed separately, and 28 are free, a few of which need registration. Among the free entries is the SWF Homage Phone Booth, an installation sitting outside the Our Cultural Medallion Story gallery at The Arts House. It all runs 13 to 22 November 2026, so the ten days are as open as you want them to be β a single keynote, a single walk, or the whole sprawl.
