Ghazals old and new from Singapore's Sandeep Chatterjee, live at the Esplanade's Outdoor Theatre — and it's free.
Sandeep Chatterjee, the Singapore-based composer and singer, curates an evening of ghazals at the DBS Foundation Outdoor Theatre at Esplanade — his tenth time performing at the venue. The programme sets his own compositions, rooted in the ghazal tradition but carried by a contemporary musical style, alongside ghazals that have shaped the genre across South Asia.
It runs on Friday 27 Nov 2026, from 7pm to 9.30pm, with a 30-minute running time, at 1 Esplanade Drive. Entry is free, so you can wander down, catch the set and still have the rest of the evening to yourself.
