Singapore's own dancers bring traditional movement to the Esplanade's Outdoor Theatre, free, on Friday 20 Nov from 7pm.
Rhythms of Tradition puts traditional and classical dance from Singapore's own performers on an open-air stage at the Esplanade. It is the kind of programme the Outdoor Theatre does well: dance you can walk up to, watch for half an hour, and carry on with your evening. The performers are homegrown, and the forms are the classical and traditional ones.
The slot runs Friday 20 Nov 2026, 7pm to 9.30pm, at 1 Esplanade Drive, with a 30-minute running time. Entry is free, so there is nothing to book and nothing to lose if you only catch part of it. Come down after work, or bring along whoever is happy to stand and watch dance for a bit.
