Parent-Child Bharatanatyam Workshop: Sahachara - Moving Together

Sahachara means moving together, and that is exactly the setup at this Esplanade Rehearsal Studio session — parents and children taking part as a pair rather than watching from the sidelines. Simple bharatanatyam dance activities form the backbone, with rhythmic games, storytelling and room for creative exploration folded in across the hour. No prior dance background is implied by the format; it is built for adults and kids to learn alongside each other.

It runs Sat 28 Nov 2026, 11am to 12.30pm, conducted in English, with admission from age 6. Tickets are S$60, and the whole thing wraps in an hour — short enough to hold a child's attention, long enough to actually pick something up. The studio sits at 1 Esplanade Drive, so you can pair it with a morning along the bay.
