Three mohiniyattam pieces from Kerala, performed by the Medasvi School of Dance — 30 minutes at Esplanade Concourse, free.
Mohiniyattam, the classical dance form of Kerala, gets a 30-minute showing from the Medasvi School of Dance. The programme is three choreographed pieces: Padam Kamini Mani, which takes on classical feminine grace and beauty, and Shiva Saptham, a tribute to Lord Shiva's cosmic qualities and majesty. Expect the full grammar of the form — body movement, abhinaya and rhythmic footwork — carried through all three.
The Singapore-based dancers perform on Mon 23 Nov 2026 at Esplanade Concourse, 1 Esplanade Drive, starting at 7.15pm. It is free, and the set runs 30 minutes, which leaves the rest of your evening open — a short, easy way to catch a South Indian classical form up close.
