Shweta Menon sings Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada film songs, with Ilaiyaraaja and A. R. Rahman in the mix, at Aliwal Arts Centre.

Four languages, one voice: Shweta Menon sings in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada at Kacheri, a South Indian musical gathering organised by The Musafir Collective. The programme moves through film songs and melodies, Carnatic-inspired arrangements and medleys, with works by Ilaiyaraaja and A. R. Rahman sitting alongside current popular numbers. It is held in a Musafir Baithak setting.

The gathering runs Sunday 15 Nov 2026, 7pm to 9pm, at Aliwal Arts Centre, and tickets are S$50. That is two hours of film music across four South Indian languages, with the Ilaiyaraaja and Rahman catalogue well represented.
