Haochen Zhang joins Hannu Lintu and the orchestra for Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No. 2 at Esplanade Concert Hall.
Pianist Haochen Zhang and conductor Hannu Lintu share the Esplanade Concert Hall stage on Fri 15 Jan 2027 for Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No. 2 — the ferociously knotty one, the concerto pianists talk about the way climbers talk about a particular wall. Two hours of it, in a hall built for this sort of thing.
The evening runs 7.30pm to 9.30pm, tickets are S$15 to S$100, and admission is from age 7 — worth noting if you're planning who to bring. A mid-range ticket gets you a decent seat without the top-tier outlay, and a Friday night at the Esplanade is an easy one to build dinner around.
