From Solo to Dialogue - Dang Thai Son & Ewa Pobłocka

Two pianists, one stage: Dang Thai Son — the first Asian pianist to win the International Chopin Competition's Gold Medal and a Juror of that same competition — and Ewa Pobłocka, fellow jury member, join forces for a recital that starts solo and ends in dialogue. The first half features Dang Thai Son performing solo works by Federico Mompou and Frédéric Chopin; the second half brings both artists together for piano duets by Mozart, Schubert, Chopin, and Poulenc, including Poulenc's Elegie for two pianos FP 175 and Capriccio d'après Le bal masqué for two pianos FP 155.
