Six hands on one piano, two pianos shared by four and six, and a violin-and-piano duo — an hour of chamber music at the Esplanade.
Piano six hands is the rare sight here, and it opens the afternoon: works by Jean Louis Streabbog and Manfred Schmitz that lean on Spanish rhythms and Argentine tango. Two pianos then get passed around by four hands and six, before the violin and piano duo take on the first movement of Brahms's Violin Sonata No. 1 and Delius's Legende in E flat. The players are Singapore musicians, presented by The Chamber Musicians, and the whole programme runs in English.
It's on Sunday 25 Oct 2026, 3.30pm to 4.30pm, at the Esplanade Recital Studio — an hour, no interval to sit through. Tickets are S$35, and admission is from age 4. A Sunday afternoon slot that leaves the rest of the day free.
