An open mic where poetry, dance and music share one bill, at the National Library on a Wednesday evening.
Creating Joy: Sparking Joy is a mixed open mic arts jam, which means poetry, dance and music all get a turn in the same session. The bill is open rather than headlined, so the mix is the point — spoken word next to movement next to something musical, all inside the Lee Kong Chian Reference Library at 100 Victoria St.
It runs Wednesday 11 Nov 2026, 7pm to 8pm, one hour flat. That leaves the rest of the evening free, and the National Library sits squarely in the Civic District for anyone heading into town after work. One for people who would rather hear three different art forms in an hour than one long set.
