Cabinet Of Curiosities: Yishun Heritage Trail

This isn't your usual heritage walk. Cabinet Of Curiosities: Yishun Heritage Trail takes you through Yishun's town centre to meet shopkeepers and visit businesses you'd normally walk past. Along the way, there's a photo stop at the rocket-shaped Golden Village Yishun, a tasting of kueh pie tee and traditional heritage desserts, and a stop at an aquarium to learn about fish and luck in Chinese culture. Oh, and you might get to hold live isopods, ants, or even a Madagascan hissing cockroach — a proper cabinet of curiosities indeed.

The trail runs on Saturday 31 October 2026, from 10.30am to 12.30pm, starting at Yishun MRT (Exit A). Tickets are S$30. It's a two-hour wander that mixes local history, food, and a bit of creepy-crawly fun — perfect for curious types who like their heritage with a twist.
