A hands-on beginners' DJ workshop at Esplanade Annexe Studio — decks, beatmatching and mixing, taught by Arthi and Ramesh of Tropika Global.
Ninety minutes is enough time to find out what all those knobs actually do. This hands-on session is built for complete beginners, led by Arthi and Ramesh of Tropika Global — a pair with roots in both the UK and Singapore — and it sticks to the fundamentals: working the decks, beatmatching, and mixing tracks. No assumed knowledge, just the basics done properly.
It runs Sat 21 Nov 2026, 3pm to 4.30pm at Esplanade Annexe Studio on Esplanade Drive, so you're in and out in an hour and a half with the rest of the evening free. Tickets are S$30, the workshop is conducted in English, and admission is for ages 16 and above. Bring a friend who's always wanted to try it and split the nerve between you.
