Text that moves and shimmers, made by you — a Thursday evening MakeIT workshop at Punggol Library.
Static type is fine on a poster, but text that moves and shimmers is what makes a birthday greeting land or a motivational quote actually get read. That is the skill on the table at Animate Your Ideas!, a MakeIT workshop at Punggol Library where participants learn to make words animate, with birthday greetings, motivational quotes and celebration shoutouts named as the sort of thing you would use it for.
It happens on Thursday 22 October 2026, 5.30pm to 8pm, at Punggol Library's MakeIT space on Level 4, and the session is run in English. The stated age range is broad — teenagers from 13 to 17, young adults, adults and seniors are all on the list, so it works whether you are picking up a new digital skill or adding one to what you already do.
