3D Starter Session @ Woodlands Library | MakeIT

3D printing tends to sit on the to-try list for ages, mainly because nobody knows what the first step actually looks like. This starter session at Woodlands Library is that first step — an introductory run through 3D printing under MakeIT, built for people who are new to it and unsure how to begin. The aim is to get you to the point where you can use the 3D printers at MakeIT yourself.

It runs Friday 23 Oct 2026, 12pm to 2.30pm, at Woodlands Library's MakeIT on Level 3, and it's conducted in English. The session is listed for ages 13 and up, covering teenagers, young adults, working adults and seniors — so it works whether you're a student with a free afternoon, a parent, or someone retired and finally getting round to it. Two and a half hours in the heartlands, with a usable skill at the end.
