Lana Del Rey, Janet Jackson and The Killers are playing the same weekend
The Singapore Grand Prix quietly books the biggest music bill of the year, and half of Singapore still thinks it is just cars going round.

Say “F1 weekend” and most people picture the race. Then you look at who is on the stages between sessions and it reads like a festival that happens to have a Grand Prix attached.
The main stages, night by night
Friday 9 October: JJ Lin, Split Enz, Cortis
Saturday 10 October: The Killers, Goo Goo Dolls, Zara Larsson
Sunday 11 October: Lana Del Rey, Janet Jackson, James Arthur
Janet Jackson and Lana Del Rey on the same night is a billing that would fill a stadium on its own. Here it is the undercard to a motor race.
The DJ stages are a second festival
Friday: DJ Snake, Major Lazer Soundsystem, TOKiMONSTA, Shingo Nakamura
Saturday: Rev Run, Flight Facilities, HYO, Ape Drums
Sunday: Mark Ronson, ZHU, Monochrome
Mark Ronson and ZHU closing the Sunday, after the race has finished and the crowd has nowhere to be, is the kind of slot that turns into the story of someone’s weekend.
And then the smaller stages
Spread around the circuit you also get Milky Chance, Portugal. The Man, Ezra Collective, Peking Duk, Tia Ray, Spacey Jane, Ocean Alley, The Rubens, Prep, Polkadot Stingray and Lola Amour — with roving performers working the walkways between them: Bloco Singapura, Brazilian Fantasy, Comparsa Shambala.
Which is the real point. You could spend three nights inside the circuit and never properly watch a race session, and still feel you got your money’s worth.
What it costs, and what is gone
It is all inside the circuit, so it needs a race ticket. Most are sold out: every three-day grandstand, plus Skyline, Bayfront, Promenade, Raffles and the Zone 1 combination.
What is left is mostly single-day. Zone 4 Walkabout is $198 on Friday, $298 Saturday, $368 Sunday. Premier Walkabout runs $298 / $398 / $498. If the music is the reason you are going, Friday is the cheapest night and the line-up is already in full swing.
One thing worth knowing: a walkabout is not a seat. You are on your feet, walking a 4.9km loop in 80% humidity, for as long as you last.
