Paper Club is a Lorong AI community initiative built around reading and arguing over academic papers, research articles and developments in artificial intelligence, and this session takes Decision Models, RLCD and JEV as its subject. It is discussion-led rather than a seminar, so the room does the work. Four questions sit on the table: what Decision Models, RLCD and JEV actually are, how they differ from LLMs, how they differ from traditional classification models, and where they may be useful in practice.

Pre-reading is encouraged so you can follow the thread, ask questions and contribute, and participants are welcome to bring relevant research, practical experience or articles of their own.
