A sing-along choral evening at Esplanade Concert Hall — Singapore singers aged 17 to 26, European and Asian works, and room for your own voice.
The audience is part of the choir here. The Voices Festival Choir, a seasonal group of auditioned Singapore singers aged 17 to 26, performs a programme that runs from European to Asian repertoire, including works written for double choir and chamber choir, with instrumentalists joining for parts of it. The sing-along segments are the point: you are not just watching from the stalls. Leading the group is MI6, a collective of choral educators.
It happens on Sunday 6 Dec at 5pm at Esplanade Concert Hall on Esplanade Drive, running 1h 40min with one interval. Tickets are S$35, and admission is for ages 6 and above — so a young one who can sit through a full concert is welcome alongside you.
