Spookology 2026: Halloween at Science Centre Singapore

Something has escaped at Science Centre Singapore, and you are the investigator. Spookology hands you a case file and sends you through galleries reworked as eerie crime scenes, hunting for evidence that leads to four Fear Labs, one each on movement, touch, sound and illusion. Each lab is a hands-on experiment in why things scare us, and solving all four points you to a fifth, secret one. Along the way there is a spider hunt to photograph, Robo Trick or Treat and a best-dressed contest with over S$1,500 in prizes, so come in costume.

The daytime edition runs 27 October to 1 November, 10am to 5pm, and is pitched at ages 6 and up. Tickets for Singaporeans and PRs are S$10 for adults and S$6 for children and seniors; standard tickets are S$20 and S$12. Annual Pass holders get 50% off, since their usual free entry does not apply during Spookology.

On Friday 30 and Saturday 31 October the centre stays open for AFTERDARK, 7pm to 11pm. DJs play different music in different zones, the Omni-Theatre screens INSANITY, a PG13 psychological horror short shot inside the Science Centre itself, and The Observatory opens for stargazing if the weather holds. A web-special ticket is S$25 (usually S$40) and includes one drink; a VIP ticket at S$80 adds express lanes, a merchandise pack and parking.

Bringing small children? Spookology Juniors at KidsSTOP, next door at 21 Jurong Town Hall Road, has gentler Halloween missions for ages 8 and under from 30 October to 1 November, with a Halloween dance at 7pm and 8pm on the two AFTERDARK nights. It is ticketed separately.
