[Punch Needle Workshop] Drawing with Threads

Punch needle is the craft of building an image out of loops of thread rather than strokes of ink, and this workshop at the Singapore Art Museum gives you a session to try it. Titled Drawing with Threads, it runs on Saturday 14 Nov 2026, from 3pm to 4.30pm — ninety minutes to sit down with the needle and see what you can make of it.

The session is held at SAM's Tanjong Pagar Distripark space at 39 Keppel Rd, #01-02, so you can pair it with whatever is showing in the galleries that afternoon. A seat costs S$10, which makes it a low-stakes way to try a new craft or to bring along someone who likes making things with their hands.
