Singapore hosts the Pokémon World Championships for the first time — three days of the Trading Card Game, Video Game Championships and Pokémon GO at Singapore EXPO, 13–15 Aug 2027.
Singapore is hosting the Pokémon World Championships for the first time. The 2027 edition runs across the weekend of 13 to 15 August at Singapore EXPO, with Championship Sunday — the finals day — moving to the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
Worlds is the top of the competitive Pokémon calendar: players qualify through a season of regional events around the world and arrive with a title on the line. Three competitions run over the weekend — the Trading Card Game, the Video Game Championships, and Pokémon GO — so the hall holds card tables, handhelds and phone players at the same time.
This is only the fourth time the championships have been held outside the United States, after Vancouver in 2013, London in 2022 and Yokohama in 2023. The announcement was made at the closing ceremony of the 2026 championships in San Francisco on 30 August 2026.
