A free micro-job taster at the Institute of Mental Health in Hougang for youths and young adults eyeing a career in mental health.
A micro-job taster for anyone who has wondered what working in youth mental health is actually like day to day. CHAT, at the Institute of Mental Health in Hougang, is taking in youths and young adults for a stint that runs from 7 Nov to 19 Dec 2026, and it costs nothing to take part.
The first session begins at 9am on Sat 7 Nov 2026, and the run closes on Sat 19 Dec at 12pm. It is pitched at youths and young adults — students, recent school leavers, anyone circling mental health work as a real option rather than a vague idea. Six weeks is a low-commitment way to test the ground before you commit years to it.
