A Wednesday evening Toastmasters session at Toa Payoh Library, 6.45pm to 8.30pm, for adults 18 and up.
LCS Toastmaster takes over the Programme Zone at Toa Payoh Library on Wednesday 21 October, from 6.45pm to 8.30pm. The session is conducted in English, and it is a Toastmasters meet rather than a talk you sit through quietly — the club name is on the door, so expect the room to be doing the talking.
The stated audience runs across young adults aged 18 to 35, adults 36 to 49, and seniors 50 and above, so you would be walking into a mixed room rather than a single cohort. It is a weeknight slot on level three of the library, done and dusted by 8.30pm, which leaves the rest of your Wednesday intact.
If public speaking sits somewhere on your list of things to get better at, an evening session midweek is a low-stakes way to see how one of these rooms actually runs before you commit to anything regular.
