Jeremy Monteiro: 50 Years of Jazz

Fifty years is a long time in any line of work, let alone one that demands improvisation. Jeremy Monteiro began his professional jazz career in 1976, and on 14 Nov he marks that half-century at the Esplanade Concert Hall with a concert simply titled 50 Years of Jazz. He'll be joined by Singapore saxophonist Sean Hong Wei, Asia-based guitarist Eugene Pao and bassist Ben Poh — a solid local quartet for a milestone night.

The show runs 2h 10min with one interval, from 7.30pm to 9.10pm, in English. Tickets are S$38–98, and admission is for ages 6 and above. Presented by Showtime Productions in collaboration with Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay. If you've followed Monteiro's career or just want a proper jazz night out, this is the one to chope.
