Jurong Fishery Port runs on a clock most of us never see. This Hidden Heritage tour takes you inside the port's workings while it's active, showing how seafood is received, sorted and sold — the machinery behind every plate of fish you've ever ordered. You'll also trace the story of Singapore's fish markets back to Ellenborough Market, and there are photo opportunities along the way.
The tour runs from 10.45pm on Friday 23 October to 12.45am the next morning, meeting at the canteen of Jurong Fishery Port. Tickets are S$55–60. If you've ever wondered where your sambal stingray actually begins its journey, this is the two hours to find out.
