Alpine Adventure

Schönbrunn Palace's grand facade and parterres are the blueprint for Alpine Adventure, a floral display taking over the Flower Dome at Gardens by the Bay. It is the first Austrian floral feature to land in the dome, and the styling leans Baroque — formal, symmetrical, ornamental — with begonias in many colours doing the work. If you like your gardens with a bit of architecture behind them, this is the shape of it.

The display runs from Fri 24 Sep to Sun 31 Oct 2027 at Flower Dome, Gardens by the Bay, 18 Marina Gardens Drive. Six weeks is a generous window, so it slots easily into a weekday off or a slow weekend wander through the Gardens. Worth keeping in mind if you plan your Gardens visits around what's currently in bloom.
