One of these closes 5 Oct. The rest you can sign up for on the day

Every last-chance list has the same flaw: most of the deadlines aren't real. Here, exactly one sign-up closes before its event does — ISCA Run 2026, which wants your name by Mon 5 Oct 2026. The other six events below will happily take your registration on the day itself, so the only thing you're truly racing is your own group chat.

ISCA Run 2026 is the one genuine deadline on this list. Sign-ups close Mon 5 Oct 2026, a full 12 days before the run itself on Sat 17 Oct 2026, at The Meadow, Gardens by the Bay. You pick your distance — 1K, 5K or 10K — which makes it the rare weekend plan you can pitch to a runner and a stroller in the same text. If you're the sort who decides on the morning of, this is the one that won't wait for you.

ONE OR EIGHT Special SHOW CASE 2026 in ASIA -V8- in Singapore closes sign-ups on Wed 21 Oct 2026, the same day the showcase plays Victoria Theatre at 7.30pm. That's a heritage theatre in the middle of town rather than an arena, which is a very different way to spend a Wednesday night. Sign-ups shut that same day, so settle it before you head down.

GOLD 905's Rock of Ages Night closes sign-ups on Sat 17 Oct 2026 — the same date as the night itself, 8pm at Hard Rock Café on Cuscaden Road. If a Saturday of classic rock is your thing, the registration window is about as tight as it gets.

Punggol Shore AAC Dance Fitness Inclusivity closes sign-ups on Thu 15 Oct 2026, the day of the session, which runs 3.30pm to 4.30pm at Punggol 21 CC, Level 1 MPH. One hour, indoors in a multi-purpose hall, mid-afternoon — the sort of plan that slots in before school pick-up rather than after.

CSN Golf Interest Group closes sign-ups on Thu 15 Oct 2026, same day as its hour at the Orchid Country Club Golf Driving Range, 8pm to 9pm. One hour on the range after dinner is enough to find out whether the swing you had ten years ago is still in there.

Kebun Baru CC MAEC P. RAMLEE CLUB KARAOKE SESSION closes sign-ups on Wed 14 Oct 2026, the same day the mic opens from 5pm to 9.30pm at Kebun Baru CC, Level 3 — in the P. Ramlee Room, no less. That is four and a half hours of stage time, so it's a long evening rather than a quick turn at the mic.

LLRN Karaoke closes sign-ups on Tue 13 Oct 2026, the same day as the session, which runs 5.30pm to 9.30pm at 76 Lorong Limau, #01-07. Four hours in the Whampoa heartlands on a weeknight beats the sofa, and it's the earliest deadline of the lot.

Sort ISCA Run 2026 first — Mon 5 Oct 2026, remember — then treat the other six as same-day decisions. Screenshot the list before the group chat starts asking what's on.
