BIGBANG in Singapore: The Ticket-Holder's Guide to National Stadium

BIGBANG brings the <XX: COSMOS> world tour to the National Stadium on Saturday 17 October 2026, starting at 7pm. If you've already got a ticket – or you're about to buy one – this is the practical companion you need, covering the venue rules that could trip you up, the fastest way out of the stadium, and where to base yourself for the night.

The show is organised by AEG Presents Asia, with tickets from S$158 to S$498 depending on category, sold through Ticketmaster Singapore. The facts below come straight from the venue's Conditions of Entry, so read them before you pack.

Getting there and getting out

The National Stadium sits in the Kallang precinct, with Stadium MRT on the Circle Line right at the door. Kallang MRT on the East-West Line is the other walkable option. But here's the catch: when tens of thousands of people leave at once, the queue for Stadium MRT becomes the longest part of your night.

Walking one stop to Mountbatten or Kallang, or arranging to meet friends away from the precinct, is consistently faster than joining that queue. If you're heading out after the show, don't rush to the platform – take the walk, grab a drink nearby, and let the crowd thin out.

Where to stay: a logic, not a list

Hotels near the stadium fill up quickly on concert nights, and rates move constantly. Instead of trusting a list, think in MRT lines: being on the Circle Line or East-West Line matters more than being physically closest. Kallang, Lavender, Geylang and Mountbatten are the nearest neighbourhoods, but Paya Lebar and Bugis are only a few minutes further and far better connected for the rest of your trip.

Check rates on the day you book – they'll change weekly. And if you're travelling from overseas, remember you'll be landing at Changi, so factor that into your route.

Venue rules: what to carry, what to leave

The National Stadium enforces strict rules on bags and items. To avoid delays at the bag check, follow these numbers from the venue's Conditions of Entry:

• Bags or luggage must be no larger than 35cm x 20cm x 30cm – roughly the size of a small backpack that fits under your seat.
• Fan boards and LED boards must be no larger than A3 (42cm x 29.7cm) unless pre-approved for the event.
• Glow sticks and light sticks must be under 40cm long.
• Banners and flags must be no larger than 1m x 2m unless pre-approved.
• Bicycles, skateboards, skates, scooters and helmets are all banned.
• Helium balloons and other inflatables are not permitted.
• No video cameras, monopods, tripods, selfie sticks, audio recording devices or professional cameras with telephoto or zoom lenses.
• For some events, the promoter may ban photography and recording entirely – check the event page for this show specifically.

What this means for your night

Practically, this means: carry a small bag that fits under your seat, keep any fan board or light stick within the size limits, leave the DSLR at home, and bring a portable charger – your phone will be working hard all night, and you'll be queueing.

Everything you bring will be electronically screened and bag-checked on the way in. Allow extra time for that, especially if you arrive close to 7pm.

Weather and comfort

Singapore in October is hot and wet. The National Stadium is covered, but the walk from the MRT and the concourse at Kallang Wave Mall are not air-conditioned end to end. An afternoon thunderstorm is ordinary, so bring a compact umbrella or poncho that fits in your small bag – and expect humidity.
