The Mountain Goat Challenge 2026 settles its finals at Bukit Timah Nature Reserve on Saturday 21 November, with men and women racing in separate finals. Getting there is not a stroll: runners qualify through a self-supported format, and the qualification route is two loops of about 10K, each carrying 750m of elevation gain. That is roughly 1,500m of climbing across 20K, done on your own supply.
Bukit Timah Nature Reserve is the setting for the finals — the same patch of Singapore that gives you the steepest sustained climbs on the island. If your idea of a good Saturday involves long grinds uphill rather than a flat park loop, this is the calendar entry to circle. Spectators after a proper trail-race atmosphere will find it here too.
