Three rooms, three very different Septembers
An outdoor garden, a seated concert hall and a Saturday jump-off — pick your room before you pick your genre.

Room matters more than genre, so here is the honest guide to where you will actually be standing this month. One is outdoors and free, one is a seated hall, one is a five-hour Saturday jump-off — match the room to the crew you are bringing and you will have a better night.
Live Music Performance at Sensoryscape is the no-brainer. Free live music at Sentosa's Glow Garden every Fri & Sat evening, with different local acts — sets at 6.45pm and 8.30pm, so you can dawdle over dinner on the island and still catch the later one. It is outdoors, it is casual, and there is no ticket to chope. The next one is Fri 18 Sep. Aim for the 8.30pm set if you want the garden lit up properly.
Vasily Petrenko & Gautier Capuçon at the Esplanade Concert Hall on Fri 18 Sep, 7.30pm, is the opposite end of the scale and the one to dress up a little for. SSO under Vasily Petrenko with Gautier Capuçon's Saint-Saëns, plus Pärt and Shostakovich — a seated hall, assigned seats, S$15–100, so there is a price band for a first-timer and a proper seat for the regulars. If your idea of a night out is actually listening, this is the one.

TruckKun Presents: Prime Time is the sweaty end of the month. Sat 19 Sep, 5pm till 10pm at RASA Space, S$22–45 — a jump-off that starts early enough that you are not wrecked for the rest of the weekend. Expect to stand, expect it to be warm, expect to be close to the speakers. Bring the friend who is always the last to leave.

Hillsong Worship Nights - Asia Tour lands at The Star Theatre on Wed 16 Sep at 8pm. A big seated room and a big singalong — the kind of night where you know half the words before you sit down. It is a midweek date, so plan your Wednesday accordingly.

And if the whole family is coming, Jurong Central Zone G 中秋晚会 Mid-Autumn Festival 2026 at Palm View Garden on Sat 19 Sep, 6.30pm, gets you music and community for S$3. Lanterns, neighbours and a stage in the heartlands — a hall of a different sort entirely.
