The "I Can Be..." Storytime Series rolls into Punggol with WonderBot and Chloe, who climb into a gachapon capsule and tumble through Singapore's past and present. The Singapore River and the Satay Club both feature on the route, which is a neat way to hand a four-year-old a bit of local history without anyone reaching for a textbook. It is told in English.
It runs on Saturday 10 October, 11am to 11.30am, in the meeting room on Level 3 of Punggol Library — half an hour, which is about right for the age group.
