The Sew & Steady upcycling studio takes over MakeIT on Level 4 of Punggol Library on Saturday 10 October, running 12pm to 2.30pm. Bring a garment that needs mending, or one you want to turn into something else entirely, and work on it there. The session is in English, and it's pitched at adults aged 36 to 49.
Two and a half hours is enough to actually finish something — a repair, a resewn seam, or a first pass at whatever that unworn piece in your wardrobe is becoming. A useful skill is the point of it, and a Saturday afternoon slot means no rush to be anywhere else afterwards. Bring the clothes you've been meaning to deal with, and leave with them dealt with.
