Half an hour of stories read aloud at Yishun Library's Programme Zone — no screens, just a Saturday morning with the little ones.
Storytime at Yishun Library is exactly what it sounds like: stories shared aloud with children in the library's Programme Zone on Level 4. It runs 11.30am to 12pm on Saturday 10 October 2026, and it is a screen-lite session — half an hour where the entertainment comes from a voice and a book rather than a tablet.
The session is in English and pitched at children aged 4 to 12, so siblings can sit in together without anyone being bored or lost. It is the kind of low-key Saturday morning plan that is easy to fold into a weekend routine, and it happens right in the heartlands at Yishun.
