Song Dongye performs at Esplanade Theatre Studio on 13 Sep 2026.
Song Dongye has been quiet on the album front for thirteen years. That silence ends with Take Another Moment, his second studio album, released on 29 June 2026 — and he is bringing it to the Esplanade Theatre on Sun 13 Sep 2026 at 8pm. The Beijing singer-songwriter wrote, arranged and produced the record himself, and the tour of the same name lands in Singapore for one night only.
Expect the set to draw from the new album, with its collaborations with jazz musicians from China, alongside older material — including songs from his debut, Anhe Bridge North. The performance runs about 1hr 30mins with no intermission, so it is a straight shot through his catalogue, old and new.
Tickets are priced at S$138, S$178, S$218, and S$348 for the Esplanade Box. Admission is for ages 6 and above. The show is at the Esplanade Theatre, and the organiser is Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay.
