Artworks shaped by caregiving's hardest days and its moments of hope, told through personal stories, at Temasek Shophouse this November.
Sequioa Tree: An Art Exhibition - The Strength Beneath The Weight gathers artworks inspired by the experience of caregiving, built on personal stories and creative expression. The show sits with the difficult parts — the strain and emotional toll that come with looking after someone — and with the resilience, hope and light that sit alongside them. It is made to get you reflecting, and to leave you with a better sense of what caregivers go through.
It runs 7 to 12 Nov 2026 at Temasek Shophouse, 28 Orchard Road, opening 10am on the Saturday and closing 9pm on the Thursday. That is six days right in the middle of Orchard Road, easy to fold into a lunch break, a post-work wander or a slow weekend afternoon. Bring someone who has done the caring, or someone who has not.
