Eight hours of second-hand browsing at Central Library — the 2026 NLB Charity Jumble Sale runs Sat 10 Oct, 10am to 6pm.
A jumble sale with a conscience: the NLB Charity Jumble Sale is back at Central Library for this year's edition, and everything on the tables is second-hand. As the organisers point out, buying pre-loved rather than new keeps things out of the waste stream and lowers your carbon footprint — a charity sale where the guilt-free part is built into the shopping.
Set aside a proper window rather than a quick dash. It runs Sat 10 Oct 2026, 10am to 6pm, in Programme Room 1 & 2 on Basement 1 of the National Library Building, and the programme is pitched at adults — young adults, working adults and seniors. The event is conducted in English, so come ready to rummage.
