A Mandarin parent-child workshop at Choa Chu Kang Library where little ones pick up Singapore-flavoured words through games — Sat 10 Oct, 11.30am.
《新加坡小词库》(My Little SG Mandarin Word Bank) is a parent-child workshop at Choa Chu Kang Library, run as part of the PCF Parent Seminars series. The idea is Singapore-flavoured Mandarin words, picked up through games and interactive activities rather than drilling at a table. It is conducted in Chinese, and parents take part in the session alongside their children rather than watching from the side.
It runs on Saturday 10 Oct 2026, 11.30am to 12.30pm, in Programme Room 1 & 2 on Level 4 of Choa Chu Kang Library. The session is pitched at toddlers aged one to three and preschoolers aged four to six, each attending with a parent. One hour, one library room, and a small bank of words that might come in useful the next time ah ma starts a conversation.
