An online talk on how illness changes a loved one's ability to eat, and the comfort food still brings in palliative care.

When someone you love can no longer eat the way they used to, mealtimes change shape — and so does the guilt, the worry, the quiet negotiations over one more spoonful. More Than a Meal is an online session looking at food in palliative care: how illness can alter a person's ability to eat, and why that shift is so emotionally loaded for the people doing the feeding and the worrying.

It runs Monday 21 September 2026, 7pm to 8.30pm, online and in English, and it's pitched at adults and seniors — the ones most likely to be sitting at that bedside, or anticipating it. No need to travel or arrange care cover for the evening. If this is your season, it's an hour and a half that names something families often struggle to put into words.
