Lilytopia

From Fri 21 Aug to Sun 27 Sep 2026, Gardens by the Bay's Flower Dome transforms into an Ancient Egypt-themed floral display, Lilytopia. This is not the usual desert-and-stone tableau — think Nile-fed gardens, coloured temple scenes and artefacts that bring to life the greener side of the pharaohs. Lilies of every shade anchor the show, but the star is the Egyptian Blue Lotus, a water lily buried with pharaohs as a symbol of rebirth and the sun.

There's more: from 21 to 23 Aug 2026, the Mediterranean Garden hosts 'A Glimpse of Egypt', a small exhibition of oil paintings by Egyptian artist Salwa Elhamamsy, inspired by Egypt's landscapes and water lilies. Entry is by Flower Dome admission, so you can see both in one visit. Singapore resident rates are $12 for adults, $8 for seniors 60+ and $8 for children 3–12. Want the full experience?
