A musical staged in the back garden of 38 Orchard Bar and Restaurant, telling a story that runs from 1975 to 1980 at Temasek Shophouse.
Light a Lasting Spark is a musical staged in the back garden of 38 Orchard Bar and Restaurant, tracing a story that spans 1975 to 1980. Their first meeting is built on banter over a matchbox taken from the restaurant. It plays at Temasek Shophouse on 28 Orchard Road on Saturday 21 November 2026.
The afternoon is split in two: a pre-show item runs from 4.45pm to 5pm, then the first show runs 5pm to 5.20pm. That's the whole thing wrapped in under 40 minutes, which leaves the rest of your Orchard Road evening open. Go for the story, the setting, or simply because it fits neatly into a Saturday.
