A Malay-language reading club for kids at Tampines Library — storytelling and activities for ages 4 to 12, Sat 10 Oct, 11.30am.
Kelab Baca Ria is a children's reading club at Perpustakaan Tampines, and everything about it happens in Malay. Each session pairs storytelling with activities for the children taking part, with the stated aim of getting them to enjoy reading rather than see it as something to get through. For a child building confidence in Malay, that combination of hearing a story and then doing something with it is a decent way to spend an hour.
The session runs on Saturday 10 October 2026, 11.30am to 12.30pm, at Tampines Library's Programme Zone 1 on Level 2. Preschoolers aged 4 to 6 and children aged 7 to 12 are both catered for, and parents are listed among the audience as well, so you are welcome to sit in with your child. A weekend morning slot in the heartlands, done before lunch.
