Bora Chung, Monika Kim and the case for K-Horror over K-Healing fiction — an hour-long online session for readers of translated fiction.
K-Healing fiction has had a long turn in translation. K-Horror: A Different Ghost Story spends an hour on the other shelf entirely, with Bora Chung and Monika Kim named as two of the prominent figures in the field. If you read translated fiction, those two names are likely to need no introduction. The programme runs in English on Tuesday 13 Oct 2026, 7.30pm to 8.30pm Singapore time.
It is an online event, so there is no travelling involved and no need to chope a seat — you log on from wherever you happen to be. The stated audience is adults: young adults 18 to 35, adults 36 to 49, and seniors 50 and above are all listed, which puts this squarely in grown-up reading territory rather than a family outing.
