Islands of Memory and Myth is a display at the National Archives of Singapore's Atrium (Level 3) that takes a storytelling lens to our island nation. Running from 21 Aug to 5 Sep 2026, it invites you to wander through narratives that blend personal recollection with folklore, all in English. Whether you're bringing the kids or making it a solo cultural outing, this is a chance to see how memory shapes our sense of place.
The display is open daily from 10am to 9pm, with extended hours until 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays, making it easy to swing by after work. It's suitable for adults, young adults, and children aged 7 to 12. Head to the National Archives — a spot that's also a cool escape from the heat — and take your time with the exhibits.
